Jina Lee Sinskey

Graduate Student Research Assistant

Jina Sinskey is a rising 2nd year medical student (class of 2011) at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. She graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2005 with a BS in Chemistry and minor in Biology.

Jina is working at the Stanford pain lab during the summer as a FAER (Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research) Medical Student Anesthesia Research Fellow. She is investigating the effects of Ondansetron (Zofran®) on opioid withdrawal symptoms in patients enrolled in the Stanford Comprehensive Interdisciplinary Pain Program (SCIPP). She is also involved in a project to evaluate the diagnostic criteria for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS).

Jina loves to travel and has recently been to Fiji, Belize and Walt Disney World.  She also enjoys cooking and makes an excellent bulgogi for those adventurous enough to try.  Although Jina lacks general hand-eye coordination, she likes to ski and snowboard in her free time. She is very much enjoying her time in California and hopes to return in the near future.
