Justin Brown
Graduate Student Research Assistant
Justin is a second year graduate student in the neurosciences program. He is using
functional MRI to ivnestigate central nervous system circuitry that suberves the
sensation of pain. He is particularly interested in how expectation influences pain
perception, and how expectation of reduced pain impacts the neural activity of discreet
regions within the brain and spinal cord to bring about pain relief.
